Lyrics
She was the kind of girl
Who wasn't shy
And if you'd seen her dance
You'd understand why

She walked up to me
Took me by surprise
Took me by the hand
And held me tight

And as we danced real close
She whispered in my ear
Baby, baby, you gotta tell me
What's the name of the band?

What's the name of the band?
Good Question!

She was the kind of girl
Who never said no
And if you asked her out
She'd always go

We went for a drive
One Saturday night
Parked the car
Well out of sight

And as the radio played
She whispered in my ear
Baby, baby, you gotta tell me
What's the name of the band?

What's the name of the band?
Good Question!

A Bit of Trivia
Basically a throwaway piece of music that was used as a way of introducing the band when playing live.

The lyrics are meaningless and clichéd and the music is just a basic 12-bar blues structure with no real sense of originality, but it did the job!

If you listen closely to the middle section, you'll hear a major error when Fred had a problem with his rhythm. This error was compounded by the fact that when the song was being mixed, we discovered that the second piece of lead guitar had been inadvertently erased, so a copy paste job (difficult to do on an old reel to reel machine), had to be used to "re-create" the missing instrument.

Most people don't notice it and figure the change of tone and the unusual beat were intentional!

Maybe we shouldn't have mentioned it! :-)
