| A Bit of Trivia |
Steve Norris wanted to have his own song on the album, so developed an instrumental piece that actually took a lot of work to make come together.
The song was never really practiced much as such, and was basically created and reinvented in the studio, with regular guitarist Dave Elms and Steve swapping roles for the song. Fred the drummer had some major difficulty at times, but it eventually came together after a lot of frustration.
The dialog you hear at the beginning of the song was actually a mistake. There was a short of some sort in the cable connecting the guitar to the amplifier, which, for some odd reason, began to act as a radio antenna and was picking up the local ABC radio station.
We decided that this was one of those serendipitous moments that happen for a reason and decided to record it and keep it as part of the track!
