SOMETIMES |
Sometimes when the nights are cold and dark I could hear your voice Against the soft whisper of the wind Beckoning, reaching
Sometimes when the days are long Your image comes to me And I grasp in vain As the illusion fades
Sometimes when the rains pour Beating against the sill I see you standing A soft shadow of my memories
Sometimes I laugh at your smiles And I wonder, and stop suddenly T'was the light that cast you And I watch you fade away
Sometimes, at times The memory remains strong Sometimes, at times Gratefully, I forget
But those times, sometimes When I hear you not, Feel you, see you not Are nowhere near enough...
