I SEE THE MONKEY |
I see the monkey way up in the tree grappling with his chains the rains will soon come and the leaves offer no warmth
He twists, he shakes struggling, biting at the twisted dominance of Man in vain
arms outstretched, reaching cries lost amidst anger and confusion but he stares and glares and sees the cage in Me
I see the monkey way up in the tree way up with his chains staring, staring at Me
