AGAIN |
As the day drew to an end I think of the times that went passing by And as my thoughts wandered I find myself remembering again You laughed at my jokes You said hello on the phone Its' funny how the little things Can mean a lot more
I try to keep myself occupied Throughout the empty days Filling my life with vague details And trying not to notice The empty rooms Then you intrude Within my thoughts And make me smile So that strangers stare
I try to push you away So I can work But my thoughts kept drifting To that part where I am most happy So I am here again Standing beside the window As the sun played with the colors With the coffee murmuring In the kitchen My thoughts filled with And I cannot help smiling
Again....
